I am pleased to announce that Punting Ace has secured the services of a leading cricket professional. So entrenched in the cricket scene, he has followed the Australian cricket team on overseas tours.  Not only will he be providing periodic commentary, he will be making a select number of suggested bets.

I would encourage you to make the most of his match previews as you would be hard pressed to find such a skilled cricket analyst anywhere. His information is worth a good deal of money so please don’t undervalue his work purely because it is currently free.

Mr. Cricket not only provides his suggested bets, but lists his reasoning behind his plays. Providing such comments aids in increasing your skills in finding a good bet.

Betting Agencies

When listing a suggest play, Mr. Cricket will always list a bookmaker who is offering the play at the recommended price. We will be using a wide variety of bookmakers when suggesting bets. Due to the nature of cricket betting markets, it would be too restrictive to stick with local bookmakers with limited markets and prices..

The more bookmaker accounts you hold, the better the price on average you will receive and the more markets you will have access to thus increasing your betting profits. You will have to manually check the prices with the bookmakers you hold an account with for the exotic plays. The reason is because not all bookmakers would price such markets up and the smaller markets aren’t picked up in the odds comparison services such as Sports Punter; always shop for best price about the selections.

Time of Release

Although bookmakers do price the head-to-head markets up well in advance of the start of the game, most of the exotic markets are priced up late. As a result, Mr. Cricket can only send his analysis through after the bookmakers have posted their markets and he has had a chance to scour for value. Therefore, his plays at times will not be released until around five hours before the start of the match. We will always endeavour to release the analysis as early as practically possible but please be aware that posting times are often dictated by the bookmakers’ release of odds.

Suggested Staking

Each bet will be suggested along with an advised stake. As you may well be aware, it is essential that you bet with a well thought out staking plan. Mr. Cricket will use a suggested stake that will range from 1 to 10 points. If your maximum outlay on any one bet is to be $100 then each point will equate to $10…and so on. It’s important that you stick roughly to the staking plan…by all means have a little more or little less if you think the bet is slightly better or worse than Mr. Cricket, but try not to stray from the suggested staking plan too much. If you stick to the plan we are confident you will show a tidy profit over time.

As with all services offer by Punting Ace, a full betting record is kept with all suggested bets.
